Biblical Identity: Shift from our identity being defined by ourselves and our world to having our identity shaped by the Word of God. People are made new through the power of the Holy Spirit as he applies his word and centers our hearts on the Gospel of Jesus. (Romans 12:1-2, 2 Timothy 3:16-17, Hebrews 4:12, Galatians 2:20, Colossians 3:16-17, 2 Corinthians 5)
Contagious Generosity: Shift from self-serving worldly desires to loving Jesus and our neighbors unconditionally with open hands and hearts. Sharing our compassion intentionally, and even sacrificially, through our homes, time, talent, recreation, and treasures brings a joy that spreads and inspires others to discover more about Jesus. (Hebrews 13:2, I Peter 4:9, Matthew 6:20-21, 2 Corinthians 8-9)
Relational Community: Shift from independence to interdependence by investing in our relationship with God and others through the use of spiritual gifts and commitment to authentic fellowship. (Romans 12:9-21, I Corinthians 12, Ephesians 4)
Intentional Disciplemaking: Shift from consumer to disciplemaker. Equipping people as disciplemakers is the engine of Gospel growth and community transformation. This value guides us to focus on process over programs while creating a culture we keep one another accountable for investing in people. (Matthew 28:19-20, 2 Timothy 2, Titus 2, 2 Corinthians 5)
Who am I praying for that is far from God? Who am I pursuing with the Gospel? Who is investing in my spiritual journey? Who am I building up with my gifts? What area do I need equipping in?
Kingdom Partnerships: Shift from building our own kingdom to serving in Christ’s Kingdom. We find joy in partnering with other like-minded churches, ministries, missionaries, and community-based organizations to visibly, tangibly, and verbally bring the Gospel to hurting, helpless, and hopeless hearts in our community and the world. We believe partnerships display the beauty of the church to a watching world. (Acts 4:12, Philippians 1:3-6, James 1:26-27, Acts 1:8, John 17)
